8 Bridges Hudson River Swim
The 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim is an 8-day, 7-stage marathon swimming stage swim down the Hudson River in the State of New York in the United States. The 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim course covers 120 miles (193 km) in 7 stages over 8 days with a rest day or rain day if necessary. The swim, co-founded by David Barra and Rondi Davies, begins at the Rip Van Winkle Bridge near Catskill, New York and ends at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in New York City, U.S.A. Its stage swims are among the longest marathon swims and the longest stage swim in the world, and is part of the Triple Crown of Stage Swims.

Mission
The swim aims to raise awareness for the work of New York Open Water, Riverkeeper, and Launch 5, all organizations concerned with making the entire length of the Hudson a clean, sustainable and safe environment for all. Public viewing will be possible along many places on the River.

- 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim, an 8-day, 7-stage 193 km river stage swim down the Hudson River: 29.4 km on Day 1 + 31.8 km on Day 2 + 21.2 km on Day 3 + 24.4 km on Day 4 + 31.8 km on Day 5 (The Beast) + 25.2 km on Day 6 + 29.1 km on Day 7 in New York, USA.
- Au I Na Mokupuni Ekolu Endurance Challenge Invitational, a 3-day 3-stage 42.5 km ocean channel stage swim: 13.5 km Pailolo Channel on Day 1 + 14.9 km Kalohi Channel on Day 2 + 14.1 km Auau Channel on Day 3 in Hawaii, USA.

Stage 5 (The Beast): Day 5 from Bear Mountain Bridge to Tappan Zee Bridge (19.8 miles or 31.8 km)
Stage 6 (The Palisades): Day 6 from Tappan Zee Bridge to George Washington Bridge (15.7 miles or 25.2 km)
Stage 7: Day 7 from George Washington Bridge to Verrazano Narrows Bridge (18.1 miles or 29.1 km)

Costs
