Cara Mcateer is an American open water swimmer who completed the 13.2-mile Stage 3 at the 2011 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim in 5 hours 11 minutes from the northeast side of the Mid-Hudson Bridge in Poughkeepsie, New York to the southwest side of the Beacon-Newburgh Bridge in Beacon, New York.
