- On 8 June 2019, he finished 2nd in the 29.4 km The Islands stage swim of the 193 km 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim along the Hudson River in New York finishing in 5 hours 22 minutes 7 seconds at the age of 58.
- On 9 June 2019, he finished 11th in Stage 3 of the 24.46 km 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim from the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge to the Bear Mountain Bridge in New York in 4 hours 42 minutes 50 seconds at the age of 58.
