The 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim course covers 120 miles (193 km) in 7 stages. The swim, co-founded by David Barra and Rondi Davies, begins at the Rip Van Winkle Bridge near Catskills, New York and ends at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in New York City, U.S.A. Its stage swims are among the longest marathon swims and the longest stage swim in the world. It is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
