Melanie Tyrrell is a British open water swimmer from Kingston upon Hull.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

She achieved the Frosted Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming on 11 August 2022.
She completed the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming when she crossed the 32.3 km Catalina Channel on 12 August 2022 in 19 hours 19 minutes 30 seconds as a charity swim. She was supported by Gina Harden, Dana Selles, Steve Sutton, and Ryland Sutton, and observers Haley Chasin and Joel Virgel.
On 15 June 2022, she completed a 45.9 km tandem relay with Gina Harden and Anel Sytdykova around Manhattan Island in New York City in the 20 Bridges Swim.
In 2020, she completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France.
