Kazu Miyahara is a lifeguard and open water swimmer from the City of Long Beach, California.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

• He completed a 32.2 km relay between Catalina Island and the California mainland on 28 September 2013 as a charity swim on behalf of Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Center at Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach together with Mitch Berro, Keith Dixon, Matt Gruneisen, Mike Alger, and Curtis Bowman.
• He finished 44th overall in the 2026 Naples Island Swim 3-mile race on 16 August 2026.
