Drew Sabourin

Drew Sabourin (born 7 July 1978) is a 44-year-old Canadian Special Olympics athlete and open water swimmer.

Open Water Swimming Highlights
- He is part of Spirit Orcas, a group of six swimmers who are coached by Susan Simmons.
- He crossed the 34 km Gunboat Channel in Canada's Great Bear Rainforest in July 2019.
- He participated in The Great Big Swim, an 8-week 80 km stage swim in the Salish Sea in July-August 2020 with 8 members of the Spirit Orcas, Susan Simmons and Jasmine Kremer.
- He completed a 21 km lake swim in Thetis Lake in 2022 at the age of 44.
- He completed a 10 km swim in the Great Bear Rainforest from Drifter’s Cove to Shearwater in 2022 at the age of 44.
The Spirit Orcas with Greg Hind, Maria Sharock, Dixon McGowen, Drew Sabourin, Meliah Motchman, Lisa Newell completed a 15 km in 12°C water around South Pender Island in British Columbia, Canada on 23 June 2025, coached by Susan Simmons.
