The Vieques Channel is located between Vieques and Culebra, sometimes referred to as the Spanish Virgin Islands, east of the main island of Puerto Rico.

American marathon swimmer Jarrett Tishmack completed the first crossing of the 15 km Vieques Channel from Culebra to Vieques in Puerto Rico in 4 hours 33 minutes on 15 October 2013.
