Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is a metropolitan region south of Brisbane on Australia’s east coast. It's famed for its long sandy beaches, surfing spots and elaborate system of inland canals and waterways and the Coolangatta Gold event.
Open Water Swimming[edit]
- The World Series Swims hosts a 21.5 km marathon swim called the SWIM THE GOLD COAST from Coolangatta Beach to Surfers Paradise for solo and relay swimmers in May.
