Dr. Christos Vassos is a doctor and an observer of Spyros Chrysikopoulos' swim from Rhodes to Kastelorizo in Greece starting at 6:15 am on 7 September 2022 and finishing on 9 September at 10:20 after 64 hours 5 minutes. The Greek island of Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands and lies in the eastern Aegean Sea, to the northeast of the island of Crete and southeast of Athens. Kastelorizo is a Greek island that is the smallest, and perhaps one of the prettiest, of the Dodecanese Islands, off the coast of Turkey.
