Camlough Team

The Camlough Team of 220 open water swimmers collectively swam non-stop for 242 hours 52 minutes (over 9 nights and 10 days) to traverse a total of 685.5 km (426.5 miles) in northern Ireland in 2009 under the leadership of Aoife McCourt-Lynch and Pádraig Mallon. The team set a Guinness World Record for a non-stop swimming relay of an unlimited number of swimmers and was nominated for the 2009 World Open Water Swimming Performance of the Year.
