Aleksandra Ewa Bednarek (or Aleksandra Bednerek or Ola Bednarek or Olcia Bednarek) is a 24-year-old Polish open water swimmer and winter swimmer from Bydgoszcz, Poland who represents the Polish Ogrodnik Team.

- She finished 3rd with the IWSA Team in the 4x25m freestyle relay with Ailen Lascano Micaz, Michał Perl, and Lars Mack at the 13th edition of the Winter Swimming World Championships in Lake Bled, Slovenia on 28 January 2023.
- On 26 August 2018, she completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from the Southern California mainland to Santa Catalina Island in 12 hours 6 minutes 42 seconds.
- She finished 2nd overall in the 50m freestyle race at the 2018 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere German Open in Wöhrsee, Burghausen, Germany on 6 January 2018.
- She won the 50m breaststroke race at the 2018 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere German Open in Wöhrsee, Burghausen, Germany on 6 January 2018.
- She won the 50m and 200m breaststroke events at the 11th Winter Swimming World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia in March 2018.
- She set the International Winter Swimming Association record in the 200m breaststroke on 6 March 2018 at the 2018 Winter Swimming World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia in 4.00.54 and in the 50m breaststroke on 10 March at the 2018 Winter Swimming World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia in 46.89.
- On 26 August 2018, she completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Southern California mainland to the Santa Catalina Island in 12 hours 6 minutes 15 seconds, the first Polish woman to swim the Catalina Channel.

- On 6 February 2020, she finished 2nd in the 20-29 age group at the International Winter Swimming Association world championships in the 200m freestyle event in 2:22.46 in Lake Bled, Slovenia.
- On 20 July 2021, she achieved the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming with a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 13 hours 18 minutes.
- On 6 February 2022 in Głogów, Poland, she finished 4th in the 50m breaststroke in 41:33 at the International Ice Swimming Association IISA 4th World Championship in the 3.00°C water at the age of 24.
2018 World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year Nomination
Aleksandra Bednarek is hot in a cold community. The 20-year-old Polish swimmer from Łódź who represents the Polish Ogrodnik Team set two International Winter Swimming Association world records at the 2018 Winter Swimming World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia with 524 points. Her world records include the 50m breaststroke (46.89) and 200m breaststroke (4:00.54). Her age group records include the 100m breaststroke (1:26.21). For her dominating breaststroke performances on the International Winter Swimming World Cup circuit, for her range and versatility in swimming fast in the cold water, and for representing the Polish Ogrodnik Team, her region and Poland very well in Latvia, Russia, United Kingdom, China, Sweden, and Estonia in a fast-growing sport, Aleksandra Bednarek of Poland is a worthy nominee for the 2018 World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year.
