Tallinn is the capital of Estonia on the Baltic Sea and is the country’s cultural hub. It retains its walled, cobblestoned Old Town, home to cafes and shops, as well as Kiek in de Kök, a 15th-century defensive tower. Its Estonian History Museum is dedicated to the country's 20th-century history, and its Gothic, towering Town Hall is among the Baltic region's oldest.

International Winter Swimming World Cup[edit]

The International Winter Swimming Association World Cup Series (or IWSA World Cup) is a 5-part winter swimming series held 7 November 2016 in Jelgava, Latvia, 6-7 February 2016 in Windermere, England, 13-14 February 2016 in Skellefteå, Sweden, 27 February 2016 in Tallinn, Estonia, and 8-12 March 2016 in Tyumen, Russia. It is organized by the International Winter Swimming Association, headed by chairperson Mariia Yrjö-Koskinen of Finland and co-organizer Aleksandr Jakovlevs of Latvia.
