Wool grease

noun - Wool fat is an anti-chafing ointment made from sheep glands that is applied to the skin of channel swimmers, marathon swimmers, ice swimmers, and open water swimmers. It is a natural product that is applied before the start of a solo swim or open water swimming event on the neck, arms, legs and torso of swimmers.

Usage[edit]

The coach was applying wool fat under his arms before the marathon swim.

Removal of Channel Grease[edit]

Wool fat can be removed with dishwasher liquid, coconut oil, or shower gel.
