Joanna E. Cain (born February 25th, 1968) is an American open water swimmer raised in Vero Beach, Florida who currently resides in Dallas, Texas. She is currently training to swim the English Channel (July 2017) after an initial attempt in August 2013.

Cain has completed the 10-mile Maui Channel Swim (solo division 2010; relay division 2008), the 12-mile Lake Travis Relay Swim (solo division 2008, 2010, 2012; relay division 2011), the La Jolla Rough Water Swim (1-mile Masters and 3-mile Gatorman divisions 2012), the Tex Robertson Highland Lakes Challenge (2012), the Dam 5K (2011), and various other open water events. She was an age-group and collegiate swimmer who has also completed the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon 91996) in Kona.
