Swim California
Swim California is a 900-mile (1,448 km) bi-directional, non-continguous assisted stage swim along the entire coast of the State of California.
The bi-directional, non-continguous assisted stage swim with a wetsuit is a solo swim by Catherine Breed from Pelican State Beach in Del Norte County along the California-Oregon border to Imperial Beach in San Diego County along the California-Mexican border.
Duration
It is estimated to take her 3-4 months beginning in June 2026.
Purpose
It will promote and drive funds and awareness for the Sea Dreamers, a community of ocean enthusiasts, adventurers, and dreamers, founded by Catherine Breed. Sea Dreamers connects women to ocean-based activities, sports, and communities, fostering a network of empowered individuals.
