Steve Dockstader

Steve Dockstader is an American pool and open water swimmer who was a member of the Swell Guys who set a 50-59 year age group record across the Catalina Channel set on 8 July 2002 from Catalina to the mainland in 10 hours 35 minutes together with Donald Van Cleve, Chris Wagner, Bill Kehoe, Warren Haviland and Rich Henry.

He was also a member of the Swell Guys Too record-setting Catalina Channel relay team consisting of Pete Pettigrew, Bill Crane, Dan Henry, Steve Cross, and Tony Joseph. They set a new record for a 70+ age group men’s relay across the Catalina Channel in 10 hours 57 minutes on 24 September 2014.
