Salt Lake Open Water
noun - The Salt Lake Open Water Swim Club (SLOW) is an open water swimming team comprised of members who live in the state of Utah. Salt Lake Open Water is an U.S. Masters Swimming pod based out of the Great Salt Lake. In addition to promoting open water swimming in the State of Utah, SLOW monitors Bear Lake solo and relay crossings and organizes the Utah Open Water Series.
Utah Open Water Series
The Utah Open Water Series includes the following events:
- January 1st: New Year's Day Race
- June: Great Salt Lake Open Water - 10 km and 1 mile
- July: Bear Lake Monster Swim - 1/2 mile, 1 mile, 10 km
- August: Deer Creek Open Water Marathon - 1 mile, 5 km, 10 km, 10 mile
