(Redirected from Isla Perejil)

Perejil Island (Isla Perejil (Spanish), Parsley Island (English), Tura (Berber), جزيرة تورة‎ (Arabic) is an island located in the Strait of Gibraltar. It is a small, uninhabited rocky islet located off the coast of Morocco, just 200 meters from the mainland coast. Its sovereignty is disputed between Spain and Morocco. It was the subject of an armed incident between the two countries in 2002 and one of the finish points of solo and relay crossings of the Strait of Gibraltar.
