Elma Couture Open Water Swim

Elma Kelly Couture Open Water Swims is an Ontario Masters Provincial Open Water Swim held in the Welland Recreational Waterway at the Welland International Flatwater Centre. It is named one of Canada's Top Open Water Swims and includes a 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km marathon swim, hosted by Welland Masters Swim Team and Brock Aquatics. The pre-race meeting is mandatory for all entrants.

Memorial Swim
The 1 km Bridie McCann Memorial Race is named for a late member of the Welland Recreational Canal Corporation committee and a well-respected swimming coach at Brock University.
