Carlisle Bay is a beautiful natural harbor and marine park with a picturesque crescent-shaped bay bordered by a long white sand beach in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Open Water Swimming
- It is site of the SwimBarbadosVacations open water swimming festivals held in July and October.
- It was named one of the World's Best Open Water Swimming Towns.
- SwimBarbadosVacations organizes and conducts two open water swimming festivals with two races each: 1.5 km on Saturday and 5 km on Sunday in Carlisle Bay. SwimBarbadosVacations was formed to organize open water swim events in Barbados and promote them to recreational open water swimmers around the world. SwimBarbadosVacations enables swimmers from outside Barbados to book nearby hotels and rentals cars at preferred rates.
