Alberto Compte is a Spanish open water swimmer from Barcelona who has swam across the Strait of Gibraltar, participated on an English Channel 3 Swimmer Relay, and completed the 22 km Port de la Selva – Cadaqués, 11 km Marnaton Formentera, 11 km Marnaton Ibiza, and the Swim4Good Costa Brava relay.

Swim4Good Costa Brava Relay

The Swim4Good Costa Brava relay is a 6-person Spanish team that swam the length of the Costa Brava from Blanes to Portbou in Spain, finishing in 32 hours 7 minutes for the 118.6 km distance. The swimmers included Guillermo Sagnier, Christian Puentes, Compte, Jordi Cañellas, Mauricio Prieto, Esteban Raventós, and Captain Toni Fiol.

Costa Brava is a coastal region of northeastern Spain, consisting of Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà and Selva, in the province of Girona. The Costa Brava stretches from Blanes, 60 km (37 mi) northeast of Barcelona, to the French border.
