Zena Courtney is a 62-year-old former American competitive swimmer, coach and triathlete from Washington.
Open Water Swimming Highlights[edit]
- She was a member of The Silver Seals, a group of open water swimmers over the age of 60 who pioneered a 16.7 km (10.4-mile) course in the Salish Sea on 25 July 2021 in 4 hours 24 minutes 43 seconds from Bremerton to Alki Point in West Seattle, Washington. Its members included 66-year-old Guila Muir, 75-year-old escort pilot Martin Adams, filmmaker Bethanie Mitchell, 68-year-old Scott Lautman, 64-year-old Rachel Price, 69-year-old Greg Rolnick, 61-year-old Michael Palmer, Zena Courtney, and observer Stephanie Zimmerman.
