Windermere International sanctioned by the British Long Distance Swimming Association
The Windermere International Championships were a series of international championships held in various courses between 17 - 26 km in and across Lake Windermere, the largest lake in England that was organized by the British Long Distance Swimming Association. The quadrennial international competition was held for 27 years from 1964 to 1990, held every 4 years.
