Ullswater

From Openwaterpedia

Ullwater is one of England’s most beautiful lakes, located in the Lake District National park in Cumbria. It is England’s second largest lake after Windermere and sits amidst the splendour of some of the finest fells in Lakeland. It is also the setting for William Wordsworth’s famous “Daffodils” poem.

The lake is clean and clear and provides a huge range of activities and water sports, including sailing, the Ullswater Steamers, kayaking, fishing, boat trips and open water swimming.
