The Swim4Suzy Bartlett Lake Crossing or the Swim4Sooz Challenge will be a 12-mile (19.3 km) crossing of Bartlett Lake in May 2015 as a charity swim to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.

Course[edit]

The swimmers will swim in a 2-mile circuit starting at the marina, swimming counterclockwise back to the marina around 4 turn buoys in Bartlett Lake.

Participants[edit]

Soloists and relay teams up to 6 swimmers per team are allowed. Teams will be responsible for their own support and kayaks.

Bartlett Lake[edit]

Bartlett Lake is a reservoir that was formed by the damming of the Verde River in the U.S. state of Arizona. It is downstream and to the south of Horseshoe Reservoir. Bartlett Lake is located 48 miles (77 km) from Phoenix and 17 miles (27 km) northeast of Carefree, is a popular recreation area in the Tonto National Forest.
