The 2016 South African Ice Swimming Championships is an ice kilometer event held in Afriski, a small ski resort located in Lesotho, a sovereign country within the South African borders. It is a high-altitude swim at 3.048 meters (10,000 feet) held under the auspices of the International Ice Swimming Association.
