Shirakami Misaki (or Cape Shirakami in English or 白神岬 in Japanese) is a cape located on the southernmost tip of the Oshima Peninsula in Matsumae on the island of Hokkaido in Japan. It is the southernmost point of Hokkaido and faces the Tsugaru Channel and Tappi Misaki in Aomori Prefecture.

Tsugaru Channel

It is one of the points to finish for solo channel swimmers and relays that attempt to cross the Tsugaru Channel. The starting points are either Tappi Misaki or Kodomari Cape on the island of Honshu.
