Sarah Taylor is an open water swimmer who specializes in winter swimming. On 21st August 2019, she became the first woman alongside daughter Ellen Taylor to swim across the Saltstraumen maelstrom.
Winter Swimming Career[edit]
- she competed in the 450m winter swimming race at the 2015 Big Chill Swim at the Low Wood Bay Marina, Windermere, England in 5.4ºC water
- she completed in the 1 km ice swimming race at the 2016 Big Chill Swim at the Low Wood Bay Marina, Windermere, England in 6.4ºC water
