Romar Arendsz is a Dutch open water swimmer, triathlete and marathon runner from Aruba.

Open Water Swimming Highlights[edit]

At the age of 38, he completed a 30 km tandem swim from Piedras Negras on Estado Falcon in Venezuela to Aruba in 10 hours 20 minutes 12 seconds on 11 November 2018 together with Davy Bisslik, Wendy Kock-Croes, Deaxo Croes and Stephan Thijsen, coached by Roly Bisslik, under the escort of pilot Johannes L.J. Versteeg with escort crew members Charlene Leslie, Seanbrick Topperberg, and Incoe Marsinus. It was a charity swim to support the charity organization 'Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds' that helps assisting cancer patients on Aruba.
