(Redirected from River Tisza)

The Tisza or Tisa is one of the main rivers of Central and Eastern Europe. Once, it was called "the most Hungarian river" because it flowed entirely within the Kingdom of Hungary. Today, it crosses several national borders. The Tisza]begins near Rakhiv in Ukraine, at the confluence of the White Tisa and Black Tisa. The Tisza is the longest tributary of the Danube River, one of the most important rivers in Central Europe . It is formed in the confluence of the Black-Tisza and the White-Tisza in Ukraine and then affects Romania , Hungary , Slovakia and Serbia. This river forms a boundary between Bácska and Between Banat before flowing into the Danube in the middle of Vojvodina at Titel .
