Oly Rush will attempt a circumnavigation swim around the Isle of Wight in 2021 as a charity event

Oliver 'Oly' Rush (born 2 December 1985) is a British open water swimmer from Dorset.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

• He has completed three major swims: Grand Swim, IOW Swim, and Jurassic Coast Swim.
  • IOW Swim: He completed a 90.75 km circumnavigation swim in a wetsuit around the Isle of Wight off the southern coast of England on 24 August 2021 in 15 hours 9 minutes with support crew members Brian Thompson and Scott Dawson.
  • Grand Swim: On 17 May 2022, he completed an unprecedented 95.5 km circumnavigation swim around Grand Cayman Island in the Cayman Islands in 36 hours 59 minutes in order to raise awareness about plastic pollution and raise funds for Plastic Free Cayman.
  • Jurassic Coast Swim: In 2020, he swam 100 miles in 10 days along the length of the Jurassic Coastline to raise awareness about plastic pollution and the way we are treating our planet and oceans.
