- On 20 July 1986, she finished 7th in the 42 km Traversée Internationale du lac Memphrémagog from Newport, Vermont, USA to Magog, Quebec, Canada in 10 hours 16 minutes 11 seconds at the age of 20.
- On 27 July 1986, she completed a 32 km Traversée Internationale du lac St-Jean in Quebec, Canada in 7 hours 52 minutes 6 seconds at the age of 20.
- In 1986, she finished 2nd in the 22 km Ijsselmeer Zwemmarathon in the Netherlands in 7 hours 18 minutes 8 seconds.
