The Messiniakos Gulf Swim (one-way) or the Messinian Gulf Open Water Swimming Marathon or the Messiniakos Marathon) is a 30 km marathon swimming race from Methoni to the city of Kalamata, Messinia in Peloponnese.

Multi-leg Swims[edit]

  • The Messiniakos Gulf Swim (two-way) is a 60 km race from Methoni to the city of Kalamata, Messinia.
  • The Messiniakos Gulf Swim (three-way) is a 90 km race from Methoni to the city of Kalamata, Messinia, and back, one of the longest competitive marathon swims in the world.
