- On 19 September 2022, he completed a 27 km crossing of the Bristol Channel in 9 hours 10 minutes, observed by Erica Jones and escorted by Ceri Davies.
- On 26 July 2015, he finished 4th in the 26.4 km International Self-Transcendence Marathon-Schwimmen in Switzerland in 8 hours 10 minutes 47 seconds at the age of 48.
- On 23 July 2016, he finished 4th in the 27 km Lago D'Orta Marathon Swim in Italy in 7 hours 16 minutes 52 seconds at the age of 49.
- On 25 August 2016, he completed a crossing of the English Channel from England to France in 11 hours 42 minutes at the age of 49.
- On 4 July 2017, he completed a 36 km two-way crossing of Lake Windermere in the Lake District of England in 10 hours 40 minutes.
- On 28 July 2017, he completed a 32.3 km crossing of the Catalina Channel from Santa Catalina Island to the Southern California mainland in 10 hours 57 minutes 3 seconds.
- On 26 August 2017, he won the 12 km LGSA Classic Swim across Lac Léman from Lausanne to Évian-les-Bains, crossing the Swiss border into France.
- On 8 September 2017, he finished second in the 28.5-mile (45.8 km) 20 Bridges Circumnavigation Swim of Manhattan in 7 hours 46 minutes 44 seconds at the age of 50 to qualify for the Half Century Club.
- On 14 April 2018, he completed a 14.4 km crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar from Spain to Morocco in 3 hours 51 minutes at the age of 51.
- On 27 May 2018, he completed a 26.4 km crossing of Lake Zurich in Switzerland in 8 hours 16 minutes at the age of 51.

- On 26-29 April 2022, he competed in the SCAR Swim, a 4-day stage swim in Arizona at the age of 55, finishing 7th in 19 hours 29 minutes 34.7 seconds.
