Llyn Padarn

Llyn Padarn is the sixth deepest lake in Llanberis, North Wales. Llyn Padarn is a glacially formed lake in Snowdonia, Gwynedd. It is a moraine dammed lake, approximately 2 miles long and at its deepest point is 94 feet deep, and is one of the largest natural lakes in Wales.
Open Water Swimming[edit]
- It is site of the Big Brutal Swim, a 2.5 km and 5 km open water swim and 10 km marathon swims.
- It is site of the Big Welsh Swim, a multi-race open water swim on 14 July 2017 with the expected water temperatures between 16°C and 18°C.
