Lending Sight Swimmer is a professionally made adjustable swimming tether system to allow a visually impaired or fully blind athlete to be attached to a sighted guide when swimming, especially in open water. These have been used in triathlon and Iron Man events. They have comfortable and adjustable web belts with an easy to release buckle on both belts, so either party can release. The belts have a heavy duty rubber tube between them which stretches to double its relaxed length while remaining secure to allow for strong current and waves in ocean.

The Lending Sight Swimmer tether is a product of Perceptual Positions, LLC, an American company in Boulder, Colorado founded by Deb Conley to create awareness for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)' and allow those suffering with this disorder to connect with others, and discover an interpersonal environment of mutual support with a guiding group called Lending Sight. Deb has suffered from PTSD for years and enjoys volunteering time to assist visually impaired and visually/hearing impaired athletes by acting as a guide in the active pursuits of running, biking, and swimming. Her company developed high quality assistive devices for visually impacted athletes including running and swimming tethers known as Lending Sight Tethers. They also sell PTSD awareness shirts and pins.

The Lending Sight running tethers also include a basic handheld web tether (Lending Sight Runner 1), a handheld running tether with stretch (Lending Sight Runner 2), and a running tether with adjustable waist belts for arm and hand freedom (Lending Sight Waist Runner).
