Kellie Joyce Latimer is a 36-year-old American scientist, triathlete and open water swimmer from Franklin, Massachusetts who enjoys ice swimming and winter swimming competitions. She became history's first Ice Ironwoman.
Open Water Swimming Career Highlights
- she competed in the inaugural Cold Water Challenge, a 2.6-mile jetty-to-jetty ocean swim in Penfield Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut
- she competed in the second Cold Water Classic on 3 May 2014
- she completed an ice mile in Boston, Massachusetts on 14 December 2014 under the auspices of the International Ice Swimming Association
- she competed in the 2015 United States Winter Swimming Championships in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont on 21-22 February 2015
- she competed in the 2016 United States Winter Swimming Association National Championships in the 200m freestyle on 30 January in New York City in 1.2°C (34.3°F) water of the La Marina venue in the Hudson River.
- she competed in the 2nd annual Memphremagog Winter Swim Festival in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont on 5-6 March 2016 in the 25m, 50m, 100m, 200m freestyle races and the 25m butterfly
- she will compete in the 2017 Memphremagog Winter Swim Festival
- On 10 October 2015, she completed the 10-mile Swim the Suck in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

- On 14 December 2014, she completed an Ice Mile in Boston Harbor, Massachusetts in 5.0°C water and 1.9°C air temperature in 30 minutes 18 seconds.
- She became an Ice Ironwoman with completion of the Ironman triathlon in Lake Placid in 2012.
- She participated in the Memphremagog Winter Swim Festival in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont on 23-25 February 2018.
- She took the January photo of Caroline Block in Cayuga Lake, New York for the 2019 Marathon Swimmers Federation calendar.
- On 23 February 2020, she won the 50m freestyle at the 2020 Memphremagog Winter Swim Festival in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont at the age of 34.
- On 16-18 September 2020, she served as an escort crew member for Caroline Block's 52 hour 24 minute two-way crossing of Lake George in New York.
- She participated in the 2022 Memphremagog Winter Swim Festival in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont on 26-27 February 2022 at the age of 36.
