Jennifer Anderson is an Australian open water swimmer from Queensland and a member of the inaugural Class of 2020 in the Australian Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame honourees, inducted on August 2020.

Open Water Swimming Highlights
- She is the record holder for The Big Swim (Tasmania), a 34 km marathon swim from the New Norfolk Bridge to the Tasman Bridge in Hobart along the River Derwent is Tasmania, Australia. She set the women's record of 9 hours 44 minutes on 26 January 1976.
- On 13 July 1975, she finished 11th in the 36 km Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli in Italy in 8 hours 55 minutes 55 seconds.
- On 11 July 1976, she finished 12th in the 36 km Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli in Italy in 11 hours 24 minutes 18 seconds.
- On 25 August 1976, she completed a 33.8 km crossing of the English Channel from France to England in 14 hours 15 minutes.
- In 1975, she finished second in the 1975 ILDSF World Championships.
- She competed in the 1975 24 Heures La Tuque in Québec, Canada with Richard Campion and Chris Guesdon as her handler, finishing 5th overall.
- She was Australia’s first world championship medalist when she was the second woman in the International Long Distance Swimming Federation World Championships in the 36 km Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli in July 1975.
- She was selected in the Australian national open water swim team in 1975.
- In August 1976, she completed a 33.5 km crossing of the English Channel in 14 hours 15 minutes.
- She was the first woman to complete the Derwent River Big Swim, finishing in 9 hours 44 minutes.
