Gerry Carroll

Gerry Carroll is an Irish open water swimmer who was a member of the 1993 Irish Sea Relay Swim (or the Stena Sealink Challenge), a record-setting, unprecedented relay swim across the Irish Sea from Holyhead in Wales to Dunlaoghaire Dublin, Ireland. The relay's total swim time was 29 hours 59 minutes and 56 seconds. The swim started at 10:00 pm 16 August 1993 and finished at 4:00 am on 18 August 1993.
