Gaston Memorial Swim (River Elbe Swim) is a 25 km marathon swim held on 27 August 2016 on the River Labe from Ústí nad Labem to Děčín in the Czech Republic as part of the Czech Cup. It is one of the World's Top 100 River Swims organized by Tomaš Česnek.

River Labe

The 1,094 km River Labe (or Elbe in German) flows from the source in Bílé Labe, Krkonoše, Czech Republic to its mouth in the North Sea in Germany. It is one of the major rivers of Central Europe that rises in the Krkonoše Mountains of the northern Czech Republic before traversing much of Bohemia (Czech Republic), then Germany and flowing into the North Sea at Cuxhaven, 110 km (68 mi) northwest of Hamburg. Its major tributaries include the rivers Vltava, Saale, Havel, Mulde, Schwarze Elster, and Ohře.
