Flying Fish Swim - Kariega River is a 5.5 km tide-assisted river swim up the Kariega River, Kenton-on-Sea, South Africa held in late December that is one of the World's Top 100 River Swims.

Started in 2014 by Julian Dovey, Royce Long, John Francis and Craig Lowe.

Kariega River[edit]

Kariega River is a river located in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is an intermittent water course that reaches the ocean through an estuary. This river rises 24 km west of Grahamstown and gives its name to Kariega Park.
