noun - Fibonacci or Leonardo Pisano Bigollo was a talented Italian mathematician who lived in the 12th and 13th centuries. Known as Leonardo of Pisa, he described a specific number sequence in his Liber Abaci (Book of Calculation) published in 1202. This specific number sequence became known as Fibonacci numbers.

Fibonnaci Numbers[edit]

0 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89 144…are the first set of Fibonacci numbers. Numbers in a Fibonacci sequence are the sum of the previous two numbers (i.e., 0 + 1 = 1, 1 + 1 = 2, 2 + 3 = 5).
