Erin Churchill

Erin Churchill is a 41-year-old American open water swimmer from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

On 20 November 2011, she completed the Ironman Arizona in Tempe, Arizona in 12 hours 30 minutes 45 seconds at the age of 30.
She participated in the Memphremagog Winter Swim Festival in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont on 23-25 February 2018.
On 26 April 2019, she finished 21st in the 27.3 km stage across Apache Lake on Day 3 of the 4-day S.C.A.R. Swim Challenge in Arizona in 7:15:24.3 at the age of 38.
On 14 December 2019, she completed an Ice Mile in Cochiti Lake in New Mexico, USA in 42 minutes 53 seconds in 4.65°C water and -3.2°C air temperatures to become an Iron Icewoman at the age of 38.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the IISA USA (or International Ice Swimming Association USA), the governing body of ice swimming within the USA that functions under the auspices of the International Ice Swimming Association.
On 26-29 April 2022, she competed in the SCAR Swim, a 4-day stage swim in Arizona.
On 27 July 2022, she completed a 19.4 crossing of Lake Tahoe in 7 hours 39 minutes 49 seconds at the age of 41.
On 26-29 April 2023, she will compete in the SCAR Swim Challenge, a 4-day stage swim in Arizona at the age of 41.
