The 3 Epic Lakes Swim Series events and locations are:
- Coniston Epic Lakes Swim in Coniston Water
- Derwent Epic Lakes Swim in Derwent Water (Keswick)
- Ullswater Epic Lakes Swim in Ullswater (Patterdale).
Distances include 500m, 1 mile (1.6 km or the Classic Mile), 3.8 km. Wetsuits are compulsory for all swimmers. Neoprene hats may be worn, and hand or foot cover may be worn as long as it does not aid propulsion (paddle gloves or fins).
