Elizabeth Horner

Elizabeth Horner is an open water swimmer from New Zealand who has completed two Oceans Seven channels. She was honored at the 2018 New Zealand Ultra-Marathon Swim Awards.
Open Water Swimming Career Highlights
- On 14 March 1981, she completed a 23 km crossing of the Cook Strait from South Island to North Island in New Zealand in 7 hours 22 minutes at the age of 15.
- On 10 May 1981, she completed a 23 km crossing of the Cook Strait from North Island to South Island in New Zealand in 11 hours 33 minutes at the age of 15.
- On 28 August 1982, she crossed the English Channel from England to France in 8 hours 50 minutes.
- On 11 August 1983, she completed a 34.8 km crossing of Loch Lomond in Scotland in 9 hours 39 minutes 34 seconds.
- On 18 August 1983, she crossed the English Channel from France to England in 10 hours 43 minutes.
