Elena Savinkova (born 1955) is a 65-year-old winter swimmer from Russia.
Open Water Swimming Highlights
- She won the 60-64 year category on the 2018-2019 International Winter Swimming Association World Cup series that included the 10th Jelgavas Roņi Cup, the Bled Winter Swimming World Cup, the Skellefteå Dark & Cold, and the Petrozavodsk Russian Open Championships.
- She won the International Winter Swimming Association Winter Swimming World Cup 2019 - 2020 season title with 192 points, the most number of series points of any athlete, male or female, in any age group.
- She won the 25m butterfly (in 20.17), 25m breaststroke (in 24.66), 50m breaststroke (in 51.45), 100m breaststroke (1:56:41), 25m freestyle (in 16.78), 50m freestyle (in 37.24), and 100m freestyle (in 1:27.74) 65-69 age group title at the 12th Winter Swimming World Championships 2020 in Lake Bled, Slovenia on 21 October 2020.

The Victoria team representative scored a total of 192 points, more than any other individual, male or female, in any age group at the 12th Winter Swimming World Championships in Lake Bled, Slovenia. She won 7 winter swimming titles swimming the 25m butterfly event, the 25m, 50m and 100m breaststroke events, and the 25m, 50m, and 100m freestyle events. For continuing her dominance in the winter swimming competition for the second straight year among women in their 60's, for enjoying the challenge and ambiance of the International Winter Swimming Association World Cup series, and for being a gracious and passionate ambassador of winter swimming on the global circuit, Elena Savinkova is a worthy nominee for the 2020 World Open Water Swimming Women of the Year.
