Elbow Beach

Elbow Bach is a beach on Bermuda that located in Paget Parish off the South Road and between the Elbow Beach Resort and Coral Beach & Tennis Club. The beach has a gentle curve resembling an elbow and hence the name. It's one of the most beautiful pink south shore beaches of Bermuda. While a part of the beach is privately owned by the resort, a good stretch is actually public.

Open Water Swimming Career

On 16 June 2016, Lori King completed a 36.5-mile (58.7 km) swim around Bermuda in 21 hours 19 minutes, starting and finishing at Elbow Beach. This was the first circumnavigation swim around Bermuda by a woman, after Dr. Sean O'Connell's pioneering circumnavigation swim in 1976.
