Ed Stetser, nickname Dutch, was an American lifeguard who first swam 22.5 miles (36.2 km) around Absecon Island in Atlantic City, New Jersey together with Ed Solitare. Their feat led to the creation of the Atlantic City Around the Island Swim that was masterminded by Jim Toomey. Greta Andersen won 7 Around the Island Swims during her Hall of Fame career.
