EDF Aqua Challenge - Paris is a 1.25 km, 2.5 km and 5 km canal swims held in Le bassin de la Villette in Paris, France held in early September, organized by the Fédération Française Natation. It is part of the Global Swim Series, part of the EDF Aqua Challenge, one of the French Cup series, and one of the World's Top 100 River Swims.

Le Bassin de la Villette[edit]

The Bassin de la Villette (La Villette Basin) is the largest artificial lake in Paris. It was filled with water on 2 December 1808. Located in the 19th arrondissement in Paris.
